About Course

Grade 5 is a bridge between elementary learning and middle school readiness, focusing on advanced comprehension, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Students refine their ability to analyze texts, apply mathematical reasoning, understand scientific principles, explore historical and cultural contexts, and enhance their written and verbal communication. The goal is to prepare learners with the independence, responsibility, and academic confidence needed for higher grades.

Science
Exploring ecosystems, energy transfer, simple machines, human anatomy, Earth’s resources, and scientific investigation methods.

Studying early civilizations, major historical events, government structures, geography, economics, and cultural diversity.

Reading
Students will develop advanced reading comprehension skills, analyze a variety of literary and informational texts, and learn to draw inferences, identify themes, and evaluate the author’s purpose.
